Designed for cabins, vacation homes, large guest rooms, and shared bedrooms, the side-by-side arrangement provides two elevated sleeping surfaces while offering the flexibility to customize the space underneath each loft.

The base configuration includes two Twin XL loft beds with a shared center ladder and access platform. The areas beneath the loft beds can remain open or accommodate optional Twin XL, Full, Full XL, or Queen-size beds, creating sleeping accommodations for up to four people.

Shared Center Ladder and Access Platform

Unlike traditional loft beds with individual ladders, this side-by-side configuration features a single slanted ladder positioned between the two loft beds.

The ladder leads to an elevated center platform, allowing access to either upper Twin XL bed by climbing over its adjoining headboard.

Both loft beds retain their original, full-height headboards without cutouts or modified openings, maintaining the traditional Barnwood design.

The loft beds are separated by 15 inches, resulting in an overall length of 189 inches (15 feet, 9 inches).

Heavy-Duty Construction

Built for adults as well as children, the Lodge Barnwood Side-by-Side Twin XL Loft Beds feature massive 4" x 4" rough-sawn pine corner posts and secure barrel-nut-and-bolt side rail connections.

Each upper loft has a weight capacity of up to 800 lbs., making it an excellent option for adults, teenagers and taller sleepers who need more substantial construction than a conventional loft bed.

Rustic Barnwood Character

The Lodge Barnwood Collection is not made from reclaimed barn wood. It is constructed from new rough-sawn Norway pine selected and finished to create its distinctive rustic appearance.

Natural saw marks, knots, checking, cracks and other wood variations are intentional characteristics of the collection and help give each Lodge loft bed its individual character.

Flexible Lower-Bed Configurations

The Lodge Barnwood Side-by-Side Twin XL Loft Beds can be customized to accommodate different sleeping arrangements.

• Two Twin XL Loft Beds Only: Leave both areas underneath open for furniture, storage, or additional usable floor space.
• Three-Bed Configuration: Add one lower bed beneath either loft while leaving the opposite side open.
• Four-Bed Configuration: Add a lower bed beneath each loft to maximize sleeping accommodations.

Optional lower beds are available in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Full XL, and Queen sizes, allowing customers to select the arrangement that best suits their room and sleeping needs.

• Upper loft requires 2 Twin XL mattress not to exceed 8" deep

Typical production takes approximately 3–4 weeks, followed by an additional 1–2 weeks for freight transit.

Lower beds, mattresses, and decorative accessories are not included unless specifically selected or stated otherwise.
