The Twin XL upper bunk provides additional sleeping length, while the wider Queen lower bunk offers extra room and comfort for teenagers and adults.
One of the most useful features of this bunk bed is its dual-height lower bunk. The lower bed can be positioned at two different heights, allowing you to choose between additional headroom for the lower sleeper or more usable space underneath the bed. At the lower setting, the bed provides approximately 43 inches of headroom. At the higher setting, it provides approximately 35 inches of headroom while allowing space underneath for an optional trundle or under-bed storage.
The storage stairs provide comfortable access to the upper bunk while adding four built-in drawers for convenient storage. The stairs can be positioned on either side of the bunk bed, making it easier to adapt the configuration to your room layout.
For additional sleeping space, an optional Twin XL or Full XL trundle can be added when the lower bunk is positioned at the higher setting. Under-bed storage drawers are also available. Dual-height Lower Bunk
The lower bunk can be assembled at one of two height settings depending on how you plan to use the bed.
Lower setting: The bottom of the lower rail sits approximately 4" above the floor, providing approximately 43" of clearance between the bunks. This setting provides more headroom but does not accommodate a trundle or under-bed storage.
Higher setting: The bottom of the lower rail sits approximately 12" above the floor, providing approximately 35" of clearance between the bunks. This setting provides the space needed for an optional trundle or under-bed storage.
