Lodge Twin XL Over Full XL Barnwood Bunk Bed

The Lodge Twin XL Over Full XL Barnwood Bunk Bed combines extra-long sleeping space with the substantial construction and rustic character of the Lodge Collection. Made to order in the USA from rough-sawn Norway pine, it features a Twin XL upper bunk over a wider Full XL lower bunk, providing additional length for taller sleepers on both levels.

Massive 4" x 4" corner posts, heavy wood construction and secure barrel-nut-and-bolt rail connections create a strong, stable bunk bed designed for adults, teenagers and children. Its rugged appearance makes it especially well suited for cabins, vacation homes, lake houses and rustic bunk rooms.

Built-In & Optional Ladder Access

The headboards at both ends provide built-in climbing access to the upper bunk, so a separate ladder is not required.

For those who prefer front access, an optional slanted ladder is available. The ladder rests securely against both the upper and lower side rails rather than extending to the floor. This provides angled climbing access without increasing the overall floor footprint of the bunk bed.

The ladder opening can be positioned on either the right or left side of the front rail.

Heavy-Duty Construction

Built for substantial everyday use, the Lodge Barnwood features rough-sawn Norway pine construction, massive 4" x 4" corner posts and secure barrel-nut-and-bolt connections between the side rails and headboards.

The bunk bed has a weight capacity of up to 800 lbs., making its extra-long sleeping configuration particularly well suited for adults and taller teenagers.

Rustic Barnwood Character

The Lodge Barnwood Collection is not made from reclaimed barn wood. It is constructed from new rough-sawn Norway pine selected and finished to create the character and appearance of rustic barnwood furniture.

Saw marks, knots, checking, cracks and other natural variations are intentional characteristics of the collection and help give each bunk bed its own distinctive appearance.

Mattress Requirements

• Upper bunk requires one Twin XL mattress
• Lower bunk requires one Full XL mattress
• An 8" thick or thinner mattress is required for the upper bunk
• Lodge/Barnwood beds can accommodate mattresses approximately 8" to 10" thick on the lower bunk, depending on desired sleeping clearance
• Mattresses are sold separately
• Mattress support/slat system is included

The bunk provides approximately 36" of clearance between the bottom of the upper side rail and the top of the lower side rail.

Optional Under-Bed Trundle

For additional sleeping space, an optional solid-wood trundle is available in either Twin XL or Full XL size.

The trundle rolls on eight wheels for easier movement and stores beneath the lower bunk when not in use. Allow sufficient open floor space in front of the bunk bed for the selected trundle to pull completely out.
