The Lodge Barnwood Queen Over Queen Bunk Bed combines exceptional strength, spacious sleeping accommodations, and authentic rustic wood character. Handcrafted in the USA from solid rough-sawn Norway pine, this heavy-duty bunk bed features two full Queen-size sleeping surfaces, making it an excellent choice for adults, guest bedrooms, vacation homes, mountain retreats, and modern farmhouse interiors.

Built for durability and everyday use, the Lodge features substantial 4" x 4" corner posts and an impressive 800-lb weight capacity per sleeping surface. Its distinctive Barnwood appearance, solid wood construction, and generous sleeping space make it a practical and attractive solution for accommodating multiple adults without requiring two separate beds.

The upper and lower Queen bunks provide approximately 36" of clearance between the bottom of the upper side rail and the top of the lower side rail, providing generous separation between sleeping levels.

The Lodge Queen bunk can also be configured with an optional front-mounted vertical ladder and an optional under-bed trundle for additional sleeping capacity. Available Barnwood finishes make it easy to coordinate the bed with rustic, cabin, lodge and mountain-home interiors.

Heavy Duty Construction

The Lodge Barnwood Queen Over Queen Bunk Bed is handcrafted from solid Norway pine with substantial 4" x 4" corner posts, heavy-duty side rails, and secure bolt-together construction designed for strength and stability.

Each Queen-size sleeping surface supports up to 800 lbs., making this bunk bed suitable for adults as well as children. The sturdy wood construction and included mattress support system provide a dependable foundation for everyday use in residential bedrooms, guest accommodations, and vacation properties.

Built-in climbing rungs provide access to the upper bunk, with an optional detachable ladder available for customers who prefer an alternative climbing arrangement.

Important — Check Your Access Before Ordering

The Queen-size headboards are delivered fully assembled and measure approximately 74"H x 67"W.

Before ordering, please make sure these large assembled pieces can be moved from the delivery location to the room where the bunk bed will be installed. Measure doorways, hallways, stairways, landings, turns and other tight areas along the entire path through your home or cabin.

The Queen headboards cannot be disassembled into smaller sections for moving through the home.

Rustic Wood Character

Each Lodge Barnwood bunk bed is handcrafted from rough-sawn Norway pine, giving it the distinctive texture and natural appearance of traditional Barnwood furniture.

Visible saw marks, natural knots, checking, cracks, and variations in the wood grain contribute to the authentic Barnwood character. These natural characteristics are intentional and make each bunk bed unique.

The Lodge collection is crafted from newly harvested Norway pine rather than reclaimed lumber, providing the rustic appearance of Barnwood with the strength of solid wood construction.

Mattress Requirements

• Requires (2) Queen-size mattresses
• 8" thick mattress recommended for the upper bunk
• Lodge/Barnwood bunk beds can accommodate mattresses approximately 8" to 10" thick
• Mattresses sold separately
• When using a trundle, select the appropriate mattress size and thickness for the chosen trundle

Ladder & Trundle Options

The bunk bed includes ladder access built into the bed ends. An optional detachable vertical ladder can also be added to the front of the bunk bed, with the ladder opening positioned on either the right or left side.

For additional sleeping space, an optional solid-wood trundle is available in Twin XL, Full XL or Queen size. The trundle rolls on eight wheels for easier access and stores beneath the lower bunk when not in use.
