The Dillon Twin Bookcase Captain’s Bed combines solid hardwood construction, built-in bookcase headboard, and flexible under-bed options in a compact, space-saving design. Its substantial bookcase headboard provides convenient open shelving for books, décor, electronics, and nighttime essentials, while classic beadboard detailing gives the bed the distinctive Dillon look.
Built from solid hardwood, beadboard, and select plywood components, the Dillon is designed for dependable everyday use. A slat support system is included, eliminating the need for a box spring or foundation.
What makes this Captain’s Bed especially versatile is its dual-height configuration. Position the side rails 12" off the floor for a lower bed height with your choice of a Twin trundle or 2-drawer storage. For maximum drawer storage, position the rails 19.5" off the floor to accommodate the stacked 4-drawer configuration.
Due to the narrower width of the Twin bed, one under-bed storage unit can be accommodated. Choose either the 2-drawer configuration at the lower setting or the stacked 4-drawer configuration at the higher setting.
Available in Navy Blue, Gray, and White.
Dual-Height Configuration
12" Setting – Trundle or 2-Drawer Storage
With the side rails positioned 12" off the floor, choose one of the following:
- Twin Trundle – Provides an additional Twin-size sleeping surface.
- 2-Drawer Storage – Features two independently operated drawers for convenient under-bed organization.
The Twin trundle includes two removable dividers, allowing it to also be used as a large under-bed storage compartment when a mattress is not installed.
19.5" Setting – Maximum Drawer Storage
Position the side rails 19.5" off the floor to accommodate the 4-drawer stacked storage configuration.
The stacked configuration provides four independently operated drawers for substantially more organized under-bed storage and is ideal when an additional sleeping surface is not required.
Due to the width of the Twin bed, only one storage unit can be accommodated beneath the bed.
