The Gary Full XL over Full XL Bunk Bed combines extra sleeping length, solid wood construction, and a clean Mission-style design. With Full XL beds on both the upper and lower levels, it provides more sleeping space than a standard Full bunk bed and is an excellent choice for teens, adults, guest rooms, vacation homes, and shared bedrooms.

Built for everyday use, the Gary features sturdy bed rails, full-length upper guardrails, and metal-to-metal connections for added stability. The bunk bed can also be separated into two individual Full XL beds, giving you flexibility as your room needs change.

Choose between a vertical ladder or slanted ladder to best fit your room. The vertical ladder has a smaller footprint and works especially well when adding under-bed drawers or a trundle, while the slanted ladder offers a more comfortable climbing angle but requires additional floor space.

Complete the bed with optional under-bed storage drawers with a center cubbie, Twin XL trundle, or Full XL trundle for additional storage or sleeping space.

Mattress Requirements

  • Requires two Full XL mattresses — one for the upper bunk and one for the lower bunk.
  • We recommend an 8" thick Full XL mattress for the upper bunk to maintain proper guardrail height and comfortable sleeping clearance.
  • The lower Full XL bed can accommodate a thicker mattress depending on your preferred sleeping clearance.
  • When adding a Twin XL trundle, one Twin XL mattress is required.
  • When adding a Full XL trundle, one Full XL mattress is required.
  • The trundle mattress should not exceed 8" in thickness.
  • Mattresses are sold separately.
