Dillon Full XL Bookcase Captain's Bed

The Dillon Full XL Bookcase Captain's Bed combines extra-long sleeping space, built-in bookcase headboard and flexible under-bed options in a solid hardwood design. With a 600-lb. weight capacity and a Full XL sleeping surface that provides 5" more length than a standard Full bed, it's an excellent choice for teens and adults who appreciate additional sleeping room.

The bookcase headboard provides convenient open storage for books, electronics and everyday essentials, while classic beadboard detailing gives the bed the familiar Dillon look. Its dual-height design allows the side rails to be positioned at two different heights depending on the under-bed configuration you choose.

Set the bed at 12" off the floor to accommodate a Twin XL trundle, Full XL trundle, or two storage drawers with a cubbie. For maximum drawer storage, position the bed at 19.5" off the floor to accommodate four storage drawers with a cubbie.

For even greater storage capacity, drawer units can be installed on both sides of the bed, providing accessible storage from either side.

Dual-Height Configuration

12" Setting – Trundle or 2-Drawer Storage

With the side rails positioned 12" off the floor, choose one of the following:

• Twin XL Trundle – Provides an additional Twin XL sleeping surface.
• Full XL Trundle – Provides a larger Full XL sleeping surface.
• 2-Drawer Storage with Cubbie – Features two independently operated drawers with an open cubbie for convenient under-bed organization.
• Two 2-Drawer Storage Units with Cubbies – Adds a storage unit to both sides of the bed for convenient access from either side.

The Twin XL and Full XL trundles include two removable dividers, allowing either trundle to also be used as a large under-bed storage compartment when a mattress is not installed.

19.5" Setting – Stacked Drawer Storage

With the side rails positioned 19.5" off the floor, choose:

• 4-Drawer Stacked Storage with Cubbie – Features four drawers arranged in two stacked rows with an open cubbie.
• Two 4-Drawer Stacked Storage Units with Cubbies – Adds a stacked storage unit to both sides of the bed, providing a total of eight drawers and two cubbies.

The 19.5" setting is ideal when maximizing under-bed storage is more important than adding an additional sleeping surface.
