Dillon Full XL Dual Height Bunk Bed with Ladder on End

The Dillon Full XL Dual Height Bunk Bed with Ladder on End combines extra sleeping length, heavy-duty hardwood construction, and a space-efficient design for teenagers and adults. Both the upper and lower bunks accommodate Full XL mattresses, providing the width of a full-size bed with additional length for taller sleepers.

The dual-height lower bunk can be positioned at two different levels to better suit your room and sleeping needs. At the lower setting, approximately 43 inches of headroom creates a more open sleeping area for the lower bunk. At the higher setting, approximately 35 inches of headroom remains while providing space underneath for an optional trundle or under-bed storage drawers.

A space-saving straight ladder is mounted at the end of the bunk bed, providing access to the upper bunk without extending out from the long side of the bed. The access headboard can be positioned at either end, allowing the ladder location to be configured to best suit your room layout. Full-length guardrails surround the upper bunk, and both beds include slat support systems, so no box spring or foundation is required.

For additional sleeping or storage space, choose an optional Twin XL or Full XL trundle or under-bed storage drawers when the lower bunk is positioned at the higher setting. The bunk bed can also be separated into two individual Full XL beds as your sleeping needs change.

Mattress Requirements

• Top bunk: Full XL mattress — recommended thickness 8 inches or less.
• Lower bunk: Full XL mattress — recommended thickness 8 inches or less.
• Optional Twin XL trundle: Twin XL mattress — maximum 8 inches thick.
• Optional Full XL trundle: Full XL mattress — maximum 8 inches thick.
• No box spring or foundation required.

Ladder:

• Straight solid wood ladder is mounted at the end of the bunk bed to help conserve floor space along the side of the bed
• Ladder extends to the floor for added support and stability
• Reversible access headboard allows the ladder to be positioned at either end of the bunk bed to better suit your room layout
• Extra-wide 2-3/4" grooved ladder steps provide secure footing when climbing

Dual-Height Lower Bunk

• The lower bunk can be assembled at two different heights, allowing you to choose between additional sleeping headroom or space for an optional trundle or under-bed storage.

  Lower setting: Bottom of the lower rail is approximately 4" from the floor, providing approximately 43" of clearance between the bunks. A trundle or under-bed drawers cannot be used at this setting.
• Higher setting: Bottom of the lower rail is approximately 12" from the floor, providing approximately 35" of clearance between the bunks. This setting accommodates the optional Twin XL or Full XL trundle or under-bed storage drawers.
