The Dillon Full Bookcase Captain’s Bed combines solid hardwood construction, built-in bedside storage, and flexible under-bed configurations in one space-saving design. Its beadboard detailing and substantial bookcase headboard give the bed a classic look, while open shelving keeps books, décor, electronics, and nighttime essentials within easy reach.
Built from solid hardwood, beadboard, and select plywood components, the Dillon is designed for long-term everyday use. The bed includes a slat support system, eliminating the need for a box spring, and accommodates a standard Full-size mattress.
What makes this Captain’s Bed especially versatile is its dual-height configuration. Position the side rails at 12" off the floor for a lower bed height with your choice of a Twin trundle, Full trundle, or 2-drawer storage. For maximum storage, position the rails at 19.5" off the floor to accommodate the stacked 4-drawer configuration.
Storage drawers can be added to one or both sides of the bed, allowing you to configure the bed around your room layout. With 4-drawer storage installed on both sides, the bed provides an impressive 8 drawers of organized under-bed storage.
Available in Espresso, Gray, White, and Navy Blue.
Dual-Height Configuration
12" Setting – Trundle or 2-Drawer Storage
With the side rails positioned 12" off the floor, choose one of the following:
- Twin Trundle – Provides an additional Twin-size sleeping surface.
- Full Trundle – Provides a larger Full-size sleeping surface.
- 2-Drawer Storage – Features two independently operated drawers for convenient under-bed organization. Storage can be added to one or both sides of the bed.
The Twin and Full trundles include two removable dividers, allowing either trundle to also be used as a large under-bed storage compartment when a mattress is not installed.
19.5" Setting – Maximum Drawer Storage
Position the side rails 19.5" off the floor to accommodate the 4-drawer stacked storage configuration. Add four drawers to one side of the bed, or select storage for both sides for a total of 8 drawers.
This higher setting provides substantially more organized storage beneath the bed and is ideal when additional sleeping space is not required.
