To ensure structural integrity, it features sturdy safety rails, a reversible angled or vertical ladder, and a metal-to-metal connection. The included under-bed slat support system makes the bed ready for a mattress without additional foundations. For added convenience, the bunk can transform into two separate extra long bunk beds.
