The Gary Twin XL over Queen Bunk Bed combines extra-long upper sleeping space with a spacious Queen lower bed in a solid hardwood mission-style design. Built for teens and adults, each bed supports up to 600 lbs., making this a practical choice for shared bedrooms, guest rooms, vacation homes, and other spaces where durability matters.

The bunk bed features full-length upper guardrails, concealed hardware, a sturdy slat support system, and metal-to-metal connections for long-term strength. It can also be separated into individual Twin XL and Queen beds as your needs change.

A slanted ladder provides comfortable access to the upper bunk and can be positioned on either the right or left side of the bed.

For additional functionality, choose under-bed drawers with a center cubbie, a Twin XL trundle, or a Full XL trundle. These options make it easy to add storage or an additional sleeping surface without changing the bunk bed's overall footprint.

Mattress Requirements

  • Requires one Twin XL mattress and one Queen mattress.
  • We recommend an 8" thick mattress for the upper bunk to maintain proper guardrail height and comfortable sleeping space.
  • The Queen lower bunk can accommodate a thicker mattress, depending on your preferred sleeping clearance.
  • When adding an optional trundle, the trundle mattress should not exceed 8" in thickness.
