To access the upper bed, a space saving side mounted ladder attaches to the bed and accesses the upper unit through an opening in the headboard. With full-length safety rails and a ladder running up the foot, parents can sleep well knowing the top bunk user is secure. Both beds come complete with slat support systems, so no box spring is required. The Austin XL bunk bed makes sharing a room super-stylish, not to mention really fun.

Dual Setting Lower Rail:

- Higher rail setting (bottom of the rail is 12" off the floor) creates a headspace of 35" clearance, with this setting a trundle or drawers will work
